February 24, 2019 (Vienna, VA) – FTC is proud to announce the award of the Department of Justice (DOJ) Civil Division Application Development and Administrative Services contract, a SDV set-aside task order valued at $14.2M over 5 years and awarded under the DOJ’s Information Technology Support Services (ITSS-5) Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. FTC’s first task with the DOJ, this new partnership with the Civil Division (CIV) reflects the company’s growing portfolio with civilian agencies in the Federal Government.
One of seven litigating divisions within DOJ, the Civil Division (CIV) represents the United States, its departments and agencies, Members of Congress, Cabinet Officers, and other Federal employees in any civil or criminal matter within its scope of responsibility. The CIV consists of approximately 2,700 personnel located within eight buildings in the Washington, DC National Capitol Region, approximately 55 of which reside in small remote sites that include New York City and San Francisco.
In support of its mission to provide secure, reliable and highly available IT business solutions to achieve operational objectives, the CIV’s Office of Policy and Management Operations (OPMO) engaged FTC to provide a wide range of enterprise-level IT support, services, and resources. FTC will provide Cleared Deskside support and advanced service support and service delivery functions and supporting customer IT needs via remote access and desk-side to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to Unclassified and Classified hardware and software. In addition, FTC will support the agency’s HSPD12 (PIV) Card Program, managing the electronic certificate program (USAAccess) on all CIV HSPD12 cards and administering the physical access permissions of all CIV personnel. Finally, in addition to other project management support and problem management services, FTC will provide application development support to maintain and develop automated systems for the agency’s evolving business requirements, working with the OPMO staff and business user community to plan, design, develop, deploy and maintain web-based legacy applications using Agile Software Development Methodologies.
