August 22, 2019 -- The Department of Labor (DOL) recently awarded FTC the IT Infrastructure Support Task Order for a wide range of infrastructure and help desk support services for the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), Office of Technology and Survey Processing (OTSP), Division of Technology and Network Management (DTNM). Awarded on the CIO-SP3 SB vehicle as an SDVOSB set-aside, this task order is valued at $38 Million over a period of five years.
The nation’s premier statistical agency in the broad field of labor economics and statistics, DOL’s Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is the principal Federal statistical agency responsible for measuring labor market activity, working conditions, and price changes in the economy. In support of mission-critical work, FTC will operate, maintain, engineer, administer, enhance, expand, and support BLS’ infrastructure – everything from Microsoft Active Directory networks, Microsoft Enterprise technologies for web and electronic email, Oracle databases and Weblogic instances hosted on UNIX and Linux platforms, to laptop and desktop computers, Tablet PCs, and associated networked communications – while also providing Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) IT support services to operate, maintain, secure, enhance BLS’ networks in the National Office, Regional Offices, and ROCCs for ongoing availability and reliability.
"This win is FTC's second contract award with the DOL and expands our footprint providing mission-critical infrastructure support services across the Federal government,” commented FTC Founder, CEO & President Vaseal Montgomery. “We are excited to support BLS’ mission to collect, analyze, and disseminate essential economic information to support decision-making."
