June 18, 2019 -- The Department of the Air Force, Business and Enterprise Systems (BES) Directorate recently awarded Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC) a task order to provide information technology (IT) data management and programming support for the Automated Civil Engineer System (ACES) Family of Systems (FoS) at the Maxwell Air Force base in Gunter Annex, Alabama. This procurement was competed as a task order on GSA’s Veterans Technology Services 2 (VETS 2) Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC).
Valued at approximately $30 million over five years, the task order will integrate complex IT systems providing the Civil Engineering Squadron (CES), Joint/Department of State (DoS) Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) forces, and Security Forces (SF) units worldwide with essential decision-making support information for effective resource allocation, work planning, scheduling, tracking, and execution for wartime and peacetime readiness. This integration will provide commanders and managers, both internal and external to the Civil Engineer (CE) community, with essential information for operations scenarios and enable reporting required by Headquarter Air Force (HAF), Department of Defense (DoD) and the United States Congress to the higher echelon of commands by CE and other commanding authorities. As the traditional waterfall methodology is no longer responsive to the dynamic needs of a diverse user community, FTC’s agile transformation, delivery and management approach is targeted to address the significant backlog of user requests and meet ongoing customer demands.
FTC has a long record of excellence in delivery for a wide range of agencies within the Department of Defense. This win is FTC’s second contract with the United States Air Force and represents an exciting opportunity for FTC to expand its extensive portfolio of mission-critical work in support of our nation’s warfighters.
With this new award, FTC can continue its mission of delivering critical IT services to the DoD by delivering best value services to a new customer within the Air Force. This award also builds on our large and expanding portfolio of agile-based software development programs that FTC views as one of our core competencies. We could not be more excited for this opportunity and look forward to the new challenge, stated FTC Founder and President/CEO, Vaseal Montgomery.
