FTC Appraised at CMMI-DEV Level 3

FTC Achievement | 08/19/2019

August 19, 2019 (Vienna, VA)  – Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC), an information technology and management consulting company based in Vienna, Virginia, providing cutting-edge solutions in the areas of Agile Transformation, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure/Telecommunications, Cloud Services and Big Data to support Federal Government agencies, today announced that it has been re-appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development (CMMI-DEV). The appraisal was performed by Multi-Dimensional Maturity (MD Maturity), a Veteran-owned small business and CMMI Institute partner for over fifteen years. This is FTC’s second successful CMMI-Dev Level 3 appraisal, the first having been completed in 2016.

CMMI is an internationally-recognized capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates that FTC’s standards, processes, procedures, tools and methods are well characterized, understood, and aligned with industry best practices to allow for optimal program success, flexibility and efficiency and to ensure a high standard of quality in customer service. FTC’s appraisal was conducted using the Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI), a thorough and comprehensive set of guidelines.

“Achieving the CMMI Maturity Level 3 benchmark for a second time in three years is evidence of FTC’s ongoing commitment to applying the highest quality standards to our processes, procedures and – most importantly – for the high level of service we provide to our customers. We are proud to once again achieve this distinction as a mark of our deep corporate commitment to continual process improvement and excellence in innovation,” commented FTC Founder, CEO & President, Vaseal Montgomery.
