April 11, 2018 – FTC was awarded a seat on the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Services for Enabling Agile Delivery (SEAD) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). With a $300 Million ceiling, this 5-year BPA for Agile delivery support will enable DHS and its components to acquire hands-on coaching services in the design and use of modern Agile development techniques and best practices. This contract aligns with DHS Digital Strategy and supports the organization’s commitment to the unified adoption of sustainable Agile frameworks that deliver software and infrastructure capabilities in a consistent and reliable manner. FTC looks forward to the opportunity to deliver Agile coaching professionals who will provide hands-on mentorship, teaching, and technical expertise to build DHS programs’ mastery of Agile practices at the technical, process, and enterprise levels. We will apply strong understanding of DHS’ challenges and goals gained through five years of ongoing support for DHS U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), which includes requirements visualization, Lean user-experience design, Agile Scrum, Agile requirements definition and management, and enterprise Agile consulting services. FTC will also leverage our experience guiding Agile transformations at the VA and DoD to help DHS achieve its goal to utilize continuous delivery technology and Agile/lean processes across the Agency.
