March 28, 2018 – FTC hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its new, 25,000 square-foot headquarters office in Tysons Corner, VA. Gerald Gordon, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority, emceed the event and introduced a series of speakers, including the honorable Ralph Northam, Governor of Virginia; Gerry Connolly, U.S. Congressman for Virginia’s 11th congressional district; Esther Lee, Virginia Secretary of Commerce and Trade; Jaime Areizaga-Soto, Deputy Secretary of Veterans and Defense Affairs of Virginia; and Sharon Bulova, Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. The event was also well attended by FTC customers, industry partners, and employees. FTC was recognized for its plans to create up to 1200 new jobs over five years as well as for its commitment to hiring Virginia’s Veterans and its contributions to innovation in healthcare technology. FTC looks forward to contributing to job growth and economic development in Fairfax County and participating in one of the fastest growing business and technology centers in the country. The ribbon cutting event has been featured by Virginia Business and by The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority.
