FTC, a fast-growing IT and Management consulting company that specializes in Agile Transformation, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud Services, and Big Data, was awarded a new task order to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OI&T), Business Intelligence Services Line (BISL). This new four-year $33M task was awarded as an SDVOSB set-aside on the Transformation Twenty One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) contract vehicle.

In service to the VA mission of providing timely, efficient and compassionate benefits and services to United States Veterans, the Office of Information & Technology (OIT&T) strives to provide high quality, effective, and efficient Information Technology (IT) services to those responsible for providing care to the Veterans at the point-of-care and throughout all the points of the Veterans’ health care through its Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) systems. The Business Intelligence Services Line (BISL) integrates data from multiple Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) IM/IT sources through its Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW), a central collection of standardized databases that provide tens of thousands of VA users a unified view of mission-critical information by synchronizing key enterprise-wide clinical, administrative, and financial data. BISL engaged FTC to provide a broad range of core support services to enhance CDW performance, effectiveness, and electronic health record transition.

“We understand that the CDW environment is at a crossroads, both with the pending Cerner migration and the cloud-first directive,” commented FTC CEO and Founder, Vaseal Montgomery. “We look forward to applying our depth of understanding, technical expertise, experience with data integration across multiple VA platforms, and thought leadership at the forefront of this changing IT landscape to offer innovative solutions to support the BISL mission and – ultimately – to enhance Veteran care.”

FTC’s 32nd task order award with the VA in just over a decade, this win reaffirms the SDVOSB’s long-standing position as a trusted partner to the VA through the support of infrastructure architecture, corporate, and geospatial data domain development, database schema development and management, cloud services, community care program support, systems administration, and the management of geospatial data services across the enterprise.
