Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Awards FTC’s Task Order for Data Analytics and Integration Support Platform (DAIS) Development Support Services Sole-Source Follow-On

Contract Awards | 04/04/2019

April 4, 2019 -- Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Acquisition Directorate (AD) Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment (ASDS) / ASD Energy, Installations and Environment (EI&E) recently awarded FTC a task order for Data Analytics and Integration Support Platform (DAIS) Development Support Services on the 8(a) STARS II Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC).

Valued at nearly $4M over a three-year period and scheduled to end March 29, 2022, this contract is a follow-on to FTC’s previous WHS DAIS task order and expands the scope to include IT development and support services on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Infrastructure (DASD Infrastructure) office and the greater ASD sustainment, with the potential for other Department of Defense agencies to be added throughout the life of the contract. As the central facility for the housing of site and asset data that supports the EI&E directorate data requirements, DAIS enables interoperability between business systems within the Enterprise as well as between systems within the Military Services and the Defense Agencies. ASD requires software development, integration, and configuration support services for DAIS to support the mission of Business Systems and Information (BSI) office and the ASD for EI&E. FTC will continue to partner with ASD and the user community, providing Agile based software development, application re-engineering analysis, application sustainment support, system testing, risk management, configuration management, quality assurance, help desk services, and Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and project management support services.

This follow-on task order will allow FTC to continue its service as a trusted partner to ASD and is evidence of the customer’s ongoing satisfaction in FTC’s ability to deliver innovative, cost-saving solutions in support of its mission.
